Courtney is a 26yr old dance veteran. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended McNicholas High School for 4yrs, where I was on their dance team. I started dancing when I was 3 years old and continued teaching and dancing after graduating high school. All my wonderful training in dance came from Bonnie Williams Dance Studio. I learned different types of dance from choreographer's that range Florida to California. I had the best opportunity when I was 18 and was picked to do a dance video with the famous dance king himself Jerry Springer. After my studio experience I joined a local dancegroup from Cincinnati where I had the chance to meet Bootsy Collins and dance for him. My favorite style of dance to teach is Hip Hop!! The fast pace and different styles of Hip Hop sparked my interest even more. The most rewarding thing about teaching kids the art of dance is seeing how eager they are to learn and move with the music. Putting smiles on the kid’s faces is satisfying for me and I know I'm doing my job when they continue to enroll for more classes. Besides working for WEBBY I also teach recreational and competitive dance at a local studio. My goal at WEBBY is to have the children learn basic dance movements, self discipline and teamwork.
