Alaina Fletcher
Miss Alaina‘s love for dance began at the age of three. When she was young, she studied primarily ballet, jazz, tap,
and hip-hop. She danced on her school dance teams in junior high, high school, and college where she served as a
team captain. Miss Alaina has taught combo classes (ballet, jazz, tap, and acro) to 1st-4th graders. She has also served
as head coach for a junior dance/cheer team (5th-6th grade).
Miss Alaina has a degree in English: Creative Writing from The University of Kansas and currently lives in the Cincinnati
area with her husband and young son. Miss Alaina enjoys sharing her love for dance to the next generation of dancers.
She is excited to provide dance education in an encouraging and positive learning environment to her WEBBY Dance
students.
Charli Littleton
Instructor
Charli began her training in competitive gymnastics winning two state titles before finding her passion in ballet.
She trained at Ballet Western Reserve in Youngstown, Ohio in classical ballet and modern dance. Charli performed in
Snow White, and in The Nutcracker as the Sugar Plum Fairy two consecutive years. She also performed in the Lake
Erie Ballet Nutcracker, as well in Appalachian Spring with the Youngstown Symphony, and with Opera Western Reserve.
Charli has studied with Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Met, Indiana University and at University of
Cincinnati. After a hip injury, Charli chose to attend UC where she graduated with honors in English Creative Writing.
Charli has a love of choreographing and teaching children of all ages the joy of dancing.

Kara Gearhart
Ms. Kara began her dance journey over 20 years ago as a student of Helen Palma's with Webby Dance Company
in Fairfield Ohio. She has continued her journey throughout the years and began teaching & choreographing
over 10 years ago. She primarily teaches ballet, tap, jazz and acrobatics and has brought her knowledge with
her to Webby. Her passion for teaching, being creative, and having fun is reflected in her teaching and
encourages all her students to be positive, and most importantly, to have FUN!

Mackenzie has always had a passion for dance. She began dancing when she was 2 1/2 years old with Helen Palma
and the Webby dance company, from there she stayed with Webby Dance until she was 8 years old. She continued
her dancing at The Studio for Dance in competitive dance until she was 18 years old. She has trained in ballet, lyrical,
contemporary, tap, and clogging. Mackenzie completed 2 years at Miami university with psychology, and is currently
studying at the University of Cincinnati for her remaining two years in a psychology degree. Mackenzie is extremely
excited to continue her love for dance through teaching children of all ages and abilities!

Sabrina Grove
Instructor
Sabrina has always loved dance and danced for 13 years. She also dance competitively for her studio for 10
of those years. Sabrina loves children and has counseled at many camps throughout the years. She even
helped start one! Sabrina is studying Medical Sciences at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Medicine.
She aspires to be a Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon while still being able to teach dance. She is very excited
to be able to teach dance while still ensuring everyone has lots of fun!
Sarah is a Cincinnati, Ohio native who loves our city and its opportunities. Sarah started taking ballet
lessons at age three and has, since then, continued nurturing her love of dance. She was previously
involved in youth ministry, which started her on a teaching path to work with and guide children.
WEBBY Dance Company has given her the opportunity to combine these two endeavors and utilize her
talents in creativity and kindness.

Carly Sheperd
Carly has always had a love of dance. With her BFA in musical theater and minor in dance from
Shawnee State University she has gotten over 5 years of training in tap, ballet, contemporary, jazz,
and musical theater style dance. Carly also performed with the Bone and Fiddle Arts Collective,
located in Portsmouth, Ohio, for about 3 years dancing in multiple concerts and festivals. She is
excited to be working with WEBBY Dance Company and teach the kids how to love dance as much
as she does!

Helen Palma
Founder of the national WEBBY Dance Company. Although the corporation is now owned and
operated by her daughter Becky, she continues doing what she loves and that is teaching dance
to children.
Founder (retired)
Holly has been dancing since age four. She studied with Le Dance studios in Anderson and was a member
of Anderson's dance team. She has a BA in communications from Morehead State, was a member of their
national dance team and was captain her senior year. She spent several years choreographing show choirs
and musicals as well as performing in them. She has been with Webby for more than three years. She loves
working with young dancers, watching their smiling faces as their skills grow.

Holly Schiller
Shannon started dancing at the age of 7 and she continued taking classes until she graduated college.
She started dancing for her middle school dance team and preformed on a dance team throughout high
school, where she was captain. Shannon continued her dance experience with the Northern Kentucky
University Elite Dance Team for 5 yrs. While attending NKU Shannon graduated with a bachelor of liberal
studies with areas of concentration in English, History, Physical Education and Recreation Fitness and
dance. Shannon has also been coaching local Kentucky and Indiana middle and high schools for the past
13yrs. She started teaching with WEBBY in 2011 and is thrilled to continue her dance training with
our staff and students.
Melissa Teran
Ms. Melissa has danced most of her life, beginning at age five. She was an assistant Instructor at
her mother’s dance studio and continued her teaching experience while attending Millikan High
School in Long Beach, California. Melissa was on the Advanced Dance Team at Millikan, where
she choreographed and taught routines for their many performances. In 1985, Melissa moved to
Eugene, Oregon and started a WEBBY Dance Company which served 300 students. Moving back
to Long Beach in 1993, Melissa worked at the WEBBY Dance Company Corporate Headquarters
as the Office Manager. She is currently a Franchisee in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky
area. Melissa is the daughter of Helen Palma, the founder of WEBBY Dance Company, and sister
to Becky Weber, Corporate Owner of WEBBY Dance Company.
